Introduction:

13 True tales of Zombies, Vampires, Crazed Killers & others -- only for the brave at heart!

Vampires, werewolves, cannibals, ghouls, zombies and other loathsome creatures of the night are like the monsters under the bed. They're the stuff of superstition or ancient folk tales and don't really exist, or so the stories go. Don't you believe it! Ravenous man-eating monsters in human and animal form, crazed serial killers, mutilation murderers, sadistic stanic assassins, hideous demons, evil witches, and the fabled undead are performing their dark deeds in the America today, spreading fear and conseternation, and leaving desolation and misery in their path. Real-life night terrors are out there, lurking in the shadows, patiently waiting for an opportunity to reach out and snatch the unwary man, woman or child to stisfy their evil bloodlust. Ther're far more chilling than such fictional movie bogeymen as Freddy Kruegger, Jason, Chucky, the Frankenstein monster, or the vampires that are so relentlessly pursued on television by Buffy and her teen associates. That's because -- unlike monsters of literature, movies and TV -- they're as real as a scream, a death rattle, or a spurt of thick, warm blood. They're bona fide horros like the predatory sharks that cruise the reefs -- like those that inhabit the deepest parts of the oceans, where the water below is black and filled with unknown terror or certain, silent death. The're diabolical satanists, controlled by blood lusts satisfied in loathsome balck magic rituals. And they're wolfish cannibals like Eddie Gein, Jeffrey Dahmer and Alferd Packer. They're blood fetishists and sadistic fiends from hell, like Giles de Rais, Vlad Dracul and Countess Elizabeth Bathory. And they're homicidal loonies like the young Ripper's mother in a previous life. So she planned a grisly murder and blood ritual to restore the horrific monster to life! Other shadowy horrors like Spring-Heeled Jack; the New Jersey Devil, and the blood-thirsty Chupacabra give a more preternatural aura to some of the frighful monsters lurking under the bed. But they're all equally scary. And more people than you may think have had eerie, bone chilling encounters with the awful spooky creatures you're going to read bout. Only a handful of the shaken survivors are still around to tell their stories.

If you have the heart for it, stick around while we visit with some of history's most fearsome madmen, madwomen, and other dread creatures of the dark side.

Each week I will and a new horror story to this site...
